I am First Nations, Nlaka' pamux is where my native heritage roots are. I use to be a fancy dancer in Pow wows when I was younger, from the age of about 6-12 years old.

I am currently enrolled for grade 12, in September. I am the summer student hired by the N.T. Aboriginal Cultural Centre, for the summer of 2015. I am so grateful for this opportunity!

When I graduate from high-school next spring I plan to travel for a while before coming back to focus on what career path I will take.

The Aboriginal Centre wishes Carissa great success in everything she does in her future!
